A full day off-piste with a guide who knows where the good snow is today. Terrain straight off the lifts, a forest zone for riding when visibility is poor, and no more than six in a group. This trip is run by SnowSurfPro.

We decide where to go that morning
Where we ride depends on what the resorts' avalanche services open, so the guide makes the call the same morning. At eight we send you the meeting point, at nine we meet at the lift for a safety briefing and avalanche rescue training. Then we ride all day, with a break for lunch.
Straight off the lift
The terrain starts right at the top of the lifts: ride up and you're skiing. For those who want to go further, there are ski-touring routes.
Tree skiing
Krasnaya Polyana is one of the best places in the world for tree skiing. A fantastic forest zone lets you keep riding when visibility is poor.
Beyond the well-known spots
Krasnaya Polyana is a well-known and busy area. We keep finding places with good snow and working out new routes.
A day with a guide — from ₽10,000 ($115) per person
Prices shown are for the 2026 season. Current prices will be updated soon, closer to the season.
₽10,000 per person
For a group of three to five. If there are one or two of you, it's ₽20,000 ($230) per person. Booking with a 50% deposit; groups are put together in advance.
₽40,000 ($460) a day
Private riding with a guide, nobody else in the group.
Not included: avalanche safety gear, lift passes, lunch, insurance.
Prices are set in Russian roubles. Dollar figures are approximate, converted at ₽87 to the US dollar.
Gear for the day
Avalanche kit
Pack, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. An ordinary pack will do as long as it has chest and waist straps.
Personal gear
Three layers: thermal base layer, fleece and a waterproof shell. An extra warm layer. A 15–25 litre pack, ideally with an ABS airbag. Freeride skis or snowboard, telescopic poles. Hat, helmet, buff, balaclava or bandana, goggles and spare goggles, gloves and spare gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen and lip balm, a personal first-aid kit.
