Kamchatka is considered one of the most unique and beautiful places on our planet. Its nature is preserved in its natural and original form, such as it was millions of years ago. Kamchatka fascinates with its wild nature, cosmic landscapes, the beauty of the majestic volcanoes and gushing geysers.
Kamchatka — one of the largest peninsulas of the world and its significant area occupied by natural parks and reserves. Almost all of them are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
8 days – 8 hours of helicopter flight time – group of 12 skiers

This tour is the "classic" of our heli-skiing tours in Russia. Powerful MI8 helicopters carry 12 passengers in one lift, and heli-skiers ski at a 1:4 guide to skier ratio ensuring a high level of safety and personal attention.

• You'll be skiing in our "classic" area, an area of 15,000sq km encircling the base.
• This tour introduces you to the "classic" of Kamchatka, taking you from the top of volcanoes to the Pacific coast, down the craters of active volcanoes and through snow filled fiords.
• We run up to 3 groups per week. And each group will have a private helicopter for the entire week.

Flight time calculation
In contrast to most traditional heli-ski companies, who base their helicopter calculation on vertical meters, we prefer to base our helicopter use on actual flight time.
Doing this means we have more freedom to do what is most suitable to the snow and weather conditions on that day. On a good day we could do between 7000m to 10,000 vertical meters of runs, using around 2.5 hours of flying time. The flight time included in this package is the minimum time we'll need even in bad weather conditions. With good weather and snow conditions we may be able to use up to 50% more time.

Additional helicopter time
Once, the allocated hours in this package have been used, it's up to you if you like to continue. The additional time will be charged at the end of your stay. Additional flight time is 450euros per person per hour (based on a group of 12 persons).

Refunds for unused time
This package includes 8 hours of flying time. You will be refunded 400euros per person for each hour unused due to bad weather conditions or helicopter technical problems.

The helicopters
The helicopters are civil versions of the powerful, twin-turbine MI-8, which is commonly used for winching, transport, rescue and special operations and, more recently, for heli-skiing. Their three-person crews consist of a pilot, a co-pilot and an engineer, in addition to which they can carry around 20 passengers. Most of the helicopters used by private companies were built recently and meet all current safety standards. They are carefully serviced and maintained according to international procedures. Operators frequently provide helicopter services abroad.
ACCOMMODATION/MEALS/FOOD
Three-star hotel built in 2005, 30 standard double rooms, 2 superior rooms, 2 suites. The hotel has Wi-Fi (pay-to-use via a card bought from reception, but the satellite internet connection is very slow), an ATM (roubles only) in the entrance hall, a sauna and a heated (geothermal) swimming pool.

Breakfast is taken at the hotel. On ski days we provide picnic lunches based round Kamchatka specialties. We also provide snacks (energy bars, etc.). Bottles of water will be available in the helicopter throughout the day. In the evening, you can either eat in the hotel or try some of the restaurants in Elizovo.
Meals are varied and based round mostly local products (sea food, salmon, soups, etc.), together with vegetables and dairy products. Reasonable quality wine (from South Africa or Chile) is available, but the most classic drinks are beer, champagne and vodka.
