Heliskiing has a reputation for being difficult and extreme — that's a common misconception. The thing we hear most from first-timers before their first trip is "I'm not ready yet". In practice the bar is lower.
Heliskiing is easier than resort freeriding on chopped-up snow. We fly to where nobody has been.
The guide picks runs to suit the group's level. A little off-piste experience in soft snow is enough.
The group is led by a certified ski guide. Transceiver, probe, shovel and an ABS pack for everyone are included, and the day starts with a safety briefing.
