Kamchatka in a small group: four or five riders and two guides. You stay at the Kamchatka Chalet 5*, eighty metres from the helicopter. Eight hours of helicopter time and around 25,000 vertical metres over the trip. Freeride by helicopter on volcanoes, at your own pace. This trip is run by SnowSurfPro.

A small group instead of fourteen
The trip is the same: eight days and eight hours of helicopter time. The difference is who's on board. The Mi-8 carries a group of up to fourteen; here it's four or five riders and two guides.

Kamchatka Chalet 5*
The hotel opened on 1 July 2023 and sits on six hectares. A thermal and spa complex, a gym, its own restaurant. You can see the Vilyuchinsky volcano from the windows. Some of the rooms are themed around the expeditions of Kamchatka's first explorers — Bering, Dezhnev, Atlasov, Krasheninnikov.
Sunday
Arrival in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and a thirty-minute transfer to the base. A welcome reception, introductions to the guides, lunch, a safety briefing and avalanche rescue training, dinner.
Riding. On no-fly days there are other things to do.
Sunday
Breakfast, transfer to the airport, flight home.

Founder Peter Yastrebkov is a certified ski guide of the Russian Mountain Guides Association. Heliskiing is freeride with a helicopter. Without one, we guide freeride in Krasnaya Polyana. On request, we organise a freeride school — get in touch if you want to learn.
